Hello,

Civil engineering will teach you more about designing and constructing various types of structure, roads, buildings, monuments, etc. This field is going to stay for a long time but there is a possibility of innovation into designing and leading to automation.

Where as electrical engineering will teach you more about electrical components, circuits and you will be playing an important role in designing of robotics too which will be a great field in future.

Both the branches have their merits and demerits but if you feel that you have inclination towards hardware, circuits, robotics you have a great scope in electrical engineering
