No, you won't face any problem. When you register for GATE you were asked to fill the name in First name-middle name-last name format by default. So every candidate has to fill the name in the given space as specified. This is the case with every GATE applicant. If the spellings in the certificate and in GATE application are correct, which means that there should not be any spelling mistake then you won't face any problem during counselling or admission.

If there is any spelling mistake then you need to provide an affidavit stating that the name is incorrect and mention the correct name as per records.
