A lot of students have commited such mistakes.don' t discuss it more rather sent a mail to organising institute iit kanpur to resolve this problem.

That's a big NO, you can check the instruction sheet and also check the examples. you have to write "8.00" instead of "8" and THIS WAS THE CATCH OR SAY FLICK IN JEEADV18
