To get a Government Physiotherapy (BPT) seat in Karnataka through KCET in the 2026 academic year, you must follow these steps:

1. Write KCET
   You must attend the KCET exam and get a valid CET rank. BPT seats are given only through CET for Karnataka students.

2. Take part in KEA counselling
   After results, register for counselling, upload documents, and complete verification.

3. Choose BPT during option entry
   In option entry, select Government BPT colleges first to increase your chance.

4. Get a competitive rank
   For Government BPT seats, ranks usually need to be good (generally below 20,000–30,000 for many categories, and sometimes higher for reserved categories).
   Cut-offs change every year.

5. Seat is given based on rank + reservation + options
   The better your rank and the wiser your option entry, the higher the chance of getting a Government BPT seat.
