The state government has cancelled the 70:30 reservation system. Under 70:30 reservation, 70% of medical seats were reserved for the candidates of local area and 30% seats were reserved for the candidates from the others areas of state.

The Medical Education Minister of Maharashtra - Amit Deshmukh announced  the cancellation of 70:30 reservation formula on 8th September 2020 and declared that instead of 70:30 it would be One Maharashtra One Merit.

Hello. This system has been scrapped by government for medical courses. So from 2021   there would be no 70:30 system.
