The Medical Council of India (MCI) recently approved three new medical colleges in Maharashtra which will be located in Pune, Sindhudurg and Nagpur.

For the 2020-21 batch, Symbiosis International Deemed University has established a Women’s Medical College with 150 MBBS seats on offer at Lavale, Pune. Meanwhile, the SSPM Medical College and Lifetime Hospital also received approval from MCI. The third medical college will be set up in Nagpur, which will operate under Datta Meghe Group (Deemed University).
