I would suggest you to ask your father to change his documents not yours . Since it would take long time for you to change your father's name in your school documents and board examination documents.

But if you are only anxious about admission and not about loan , then you should not worry about it so much. But you should get it confirmed by the authorities.

Since Aadhaar Card and other government documents can be altered easily so you should try that only.
