In NCERT Class 12 Biology Chapter 4 Notes Principles of Inheritance and Variation, law of dominance states that:

  • Characters are controlled by discrete units called factors.

  • Factors always occur in pairs.

  • In a dissimilar pair of factors, one member of the pair dominates the other.
