With 360 marks in NEET 2025 and a state rank around 19,000, getting an MBBS seat in a self-financed (private) medical college is possible, but it will likely be through management/NRI quota seats, not merit seats.

Self-financed private medical colleges in lower-ranked institutions (especially in states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, or Uttar Pradesh) may offer you a seat in the later counselling rounds.

Be prepared for higher tuition fees (8-20 lakh per annum) under management quota.

Hii,

A NEET score of 360 with a state rank of 19,000 gives you a slim chance for a government seat, if you belongs to a reservation quota but you may still get admission into a self-financed or private medical college depending on your category, state, and college demand. In some states with many private colleges like Karnataka, UP, Tamil Nadu, or Maharashtra, 360 might be enough for MBBS or BDS under the management quota.

If you got 360 marks in NEET 2025 and your state rank is around 19,000, then you might get a seat in a self-finance (private) medical college. It depends on your state, your category (like general, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS), and how many seats are available.

In many states, students with 330 to 400 marks can get admission in private MBBS colleges under management quota. With 360 marks, your chances are fair in some private colleges in states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

If you belong to a reserved category or EWS, your chances increase.

You may not get a seat in a government college with this score.

Also, keep in mind that private colleges have higher fees, sometimes more than Rs 10 lakh per year.

With a rank near 19,000, you fall in the range where many reputable private colleges offer MBBS seats under All India Quota (AIQ) or state quota. Colleges such as Kasturba Medical College (Manipal), Sri Ramachandra (Chennai), JSS Medical College, and SRM Medical College often close admission in the 15,000–30,000 rank range. ([turn0search1] turn0search1, [turn0search7] turn0search7)

Government college seats for MBBS generally require a much higher rank. For general category students, the expected cutoff range for government seats in NEET 2025 is around 550–680 marks, corresponding to ranks well inside the top few thousand. A score of 360 is not enough. ([turn0search9] turn0search9)

But many private or deemed medical colleges still admit candidates at the 360 mark, especially under management or NRI quota. These include colleges like Dr. D.Y. Patil (Pune), SRM (Chennai), and BVDU Medical College. Their cutoffs often range from 300 to 400 marks for such quotas. ([turn0search3] turn0search3, [turn0search2] turn0search2)

In short, with 360 marks and Rank 19,000, you are unlikely to get MBBS in a government college. But you have a good chance in private medical colleges through AIQ or state quota seats.
