Hello Manisha, Subsequent round of counseling means further rounds of counseling following the first round of seat allotments. There are about 3-4 rounds of counseling to fill up the seats at NIFT and if any seats remain after that I think there is a spot round to fill up the remaining seats.

It not necessary. If the seats get full in the first round only then there's no need for further rounds.
