in present scenario due to pandemic we are delayed at least 1 year for admission for mbbs let's say he is a one year dropper for neet ug then after completion of mbbs his age will be 18+1+1+4.5=24.5 then if he is a GM student then he can attend NATIONAL EXIT TEST or NEXT only once!! age limit is 25?

Greetings,

The proposed National Exit Test (NEXT) is a unified exam for attaining the practice license after completion of MBBS. As such, being a graduate level exam as well a medical field exam meant for the convenience of medical graduates across India, there is no (and can be no) age limit to appearing in the exam. Even the data available about the NEXT exam bill states that there will be co cap for number of attempts in the NEXT exam so please rest assured that no such action would be implemented by the government that would be disadvantageous to the students. There are many 2-3 time droppers as well as multiple times PG test takes in India and putting an age limit for such an exit test would be counterintuitive to the whole process.

Good luck
