Computer science and applied mathematics is mainly research oriented branch and computer science engineering prepare you to work for IT companies. Now it depends on your choice. Computer science and applied mathematics is not commonly known to many people hence have higher opportunities. While Computer science engineering is a common branch with job opportunities
