Yes negative marking is there in the upsc exam. Prelims the mcq test has .33 negative marking for each answer that goes wrong. But there is no negative marking if the question was not answered. So if you are not very sure then go for the next question.

No man there is no negative marking in uptu examination..I have given it last year only
