For the engineering students the power of persuasion works everywhere,  no reason to be afraid. So this is my suggestion,  once you graduate,  you will receive something called as a consolidated marksheet. Try to use it as much as possible, it has no reflection  whatever of the number of attempts. But the downside is that it also shows the year in which you passed the subject. Please utilize persuasion here.
