Chandigarh University is well known for its placements.

If you are hardworking and sincere then you'll surely get good internships and placement. Faculty is average because there are so many students that teachers are not able to focus equally on each and every student. So you have to set major goals to get good placements. Their is well trained placement cell that prepares students for placement interviews 

It has strict rules for attendance, Ragging free campus. 

College crowd is just okay, not so great and not bad as well.  

Average packages are between 4-5 lacs. Reputed companies like Amazon, Paytm, Infosys, cognizant etc visit the campus for placements.

Computer science department has highest number of placements in reputed MNCs . Hotel management and engineering department also have good placements.Other branches also have average placements.

But every University has few drawbacks as well , even IITs and NITs are also not that good to make students understand everything.

Also University is crowded. But infrastructure, facilities and placement training is good. 

Teachers are supportive but you should make your Mind, set major goals , work hard, and choose your course wisely as per your interest area, potential and skills.
