Hi aspirant
As per the new rules class 12 marks are considered as only an eligibility criteria for seeking admission in NITs/IITs/IIITs.

A candidate(Gen/OBC) must have secured at least 75% in class 12 for taking admission in these Institute.
SC/St candidate needs to secure >65%

However boards marks are not considered for the calculation of rank of a candidate during the JEE mains. They are just as an eligibility criteria.
