Heyy student,

Yes it is good rank if you belong to the Tamil Nadu because in that rank you can get top branches like CSE, CSE(S), ECE or some other. But if you are from other state then you will struggle and end up without getting any seat because the cutoff for open state student is too high and for home state it is too low.

Sid Look for banglore campus home state is Karnataka, for Coimbatore campus home state is Tamil Nadu and for amritapuri campus home state is Kerala, so if you belong to any of the state then you will get the benefit in that campus only otherwise you will be counted as a open state student. As your state is Andhra Pradesh so will not get the benefit of home state quota in any of the campus.
