Hello sir,

Reservation in any form or percentage is obviously beneficial for the reserved class. The benefit is that they will be considered for the reserved seats first, and then even after they can get admission under general quota seats too. 

Similarly, the reservation for Maratha community does lower the cutoff a bit in NEET. Though it doesn't lower by a great extent, yet it is on the benefit side for them in particular.
