The demand for cs and IT branch is increasing rapidly.Getting rank below 3500 is quite stable for getting cse in some reputed college of west bengal.
But for government college like JU competition is very tough and we can accept cse only when our rank is under 500.
So your rank can not be considered good its average but if you are interested in cse you can get it in some private college.

Dear Shivam if say honestly that is not that much good score for CSE because mostly CSE branch filled within 5000 of mostly college even you are from outside West Bengal then you can face more problem to getting a seat in CSE, it is like impossible to get CSE branch.
