Yes , admission in engineering department in du is based on entrance exam ranks . Not on class 12 marks . You can get b.sc branches with class 12 marks in du.

Hello,
Your class 12 marks will be a eligibility for the course in university and then along with the marks in ur entrance exam u will be given admission.

In DU all the admission are taken with respect to 12th marks

Every year 12th marks where only considered for admission in du but I think this year admission is also on entrance basis
