Answering your question-
Yes biology subject is required to opt for b.pharma  course.You should have completed the 10+2 , with physics, chemistry and biology/ mathematics are eligible for Diploma in Pharmacy as also the Bachelor's degree (B.Pharm.) ... Only Science stream candidate are eligible to apply for B.Pharma Course.
Top colleges of B.pharma in Maharashtra are-
*Institute of chemical technology.
*Bombay college of pharmacy.
*Poona college of pharmacy.
These are some of the top 3 pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra.
