Hello,

Yes, Biotechnology is a good course. In fact every course is good and all that matters is the interest of the candidate. It is a combination of Biology and Technology and concentrates on applications of biology in industry for the benefit of society.

Biotechnology is offered by many reputed institutes in India.

Graduates from biotechnology can work as:

  1. Biotechnology engineer
  2. Scientist
  3. Lab technician
  4. Project manager
  5. Teacher
  6. Microbiologists

Some top recruiters in the field of medicine development and production are:

Of these, some are high paying jobs and placements are quite good depending on the university.

hello aspirant...

Bsc in biotechnology is a great career option . Biotechnology is a combination of two subjects - biology and Technology. In theory section , students will have to deal with subjects related to biology as well as basic technology concepts. Practical section is also very important.

If biotechnology is an area you are truely passionate about, go for it.More than just passing with fantastic grades and collecting degrees and certificates, focus on the larger aspect. Take up internships during your vacations, acquire the necessary skills, learn to operate an instrument.

Finally , no career is option is good or bad. Everything depends on what we expect out of it and make out of it.

HOPE IT WOULD HAVE HELPED YOU

ALL THE BEST
