Hi there, in first year the syllabus is more general and yes, as you get promoted to second year or further, things do need more hard work. But nothing is impossible. You just need to work hard. There is no substitute to hard work.

Hello student,

I would say Comp Eng is easier than 12th std PCM. First you study C language. Then you may learn C++ which is similar to C. Then you may learn Java which has similar concepts as C and C++ etc. So apparently learning different programming languages doesn't make it difficult but makes it interesting. Consider Theory of computation and compiler design. Both of these have connection.  So each year you will learn new things which will be very much interesting and will be related to one which you had previously learned.

Hope this will be helpful!!

Hello dear
It is nothing like that ; instead of this in first year there are some common subject like chemistry ; physics and maths and it is not tough for a jee aspirant.
So it a myth ; don't worry .
But after first year you will face some core subjects and coding subject which need practice and knowledge.
So good luck.
