Yes Cengage is a very decent book as far as chemistry concepts are concerned. One cannot guarantee whether a book is sufficient or not. Because when you appear for competitive entrance exams, the more you do, the more you get. But yes, as per your question, it's decent enough to refer cengage book and solve it's mcqs as well for the IIT jam chemistry paper. If you get more time, then do solve books like Arihant or Pradeep as well.

Cengage Chemistry books for JEE advanced are good for preparing for IIT JAM. You should thoroughly practice the questions from the book. You must solve previous year question papers and go for frequent mock tests.
