jadavpur is quite a good college and if you do not have any choice of iiit,nit in jee mains through josaa ,you can definitely go with chemical at jadavpur university.

chemical is a very good branch which has a good scope in India and abroad

moorover cracking gate for mtech and psus is relatively easier compared to other branches.

hi sankalan ghosh.hope you are doig well.chemical engineering at jadavpur university is really good.infact pretty good.it has great placement and internship oppurtunities with the department sharing very good bond with ug,pg as well as alumni students.also the professors are good and you will really enjoy your experience there

Hi there!!! Since Jadavpur university is a good college studying chemical engineering there shouldn't be a problem. Also remember that a branch is good or not is highly dependent on your interest. If you don't like a branch then even if it is good you won't like it. So i guess it all comes down to your own level of interest and willingness to study and work hard in that branch. In short if you have interest then definitely its a good option.  Hope this helps.
