CLAT is necessary to take admission in Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and the university provides for reservation to J&K Migrants, but you will have to give CLAT in order to get admission in GNLU, however, it is not compulsory to give CLAT if you want to take admission in any other university in Gujarat. You have not provided the specific university/college in which you want to apply, i would suggest you check the website of the university you wish to apply and check the entrance criteria of that university.
