So with regard to your query, NO it is not that the CUET exam got cancelled for the north eastern colleges. As per the news came out, the chief minister of Meghalaya State government had met union education minister to exempt the CUET exam for the colleges which are affiliated with North Eastern Hill Universities, due to lack of limited digital connectivity, geographical conditions etc.,.

Therefore, the CUET will not be required only to those colleges which are affiliated with the NEHU that is North East Hill University, the normal admission process will take place to the undergraduate courses of this university affiliatd colleges.
