Polymer science and engineering in CUSAT is one of the best branch in India. The department is very old and well established, with the alumni of the department working in many major polymer based industry. The polymer science and rubber technology course is more concerned with the science rather than the engineering. So in my opinion, it is good to opt if you want to do engineering in polymer science and technology in India.
