A diploma in agricultural engineering is a specialized course dealing with farming machinery. After getting the diploma, you can work in state governments Agricultural Mechanization Department, and in private farm machinery sales outlets. You can also  start a farm machine hiring service.
Open a farm machine repair and maintenance shop.
You can also get a job as:
Agricultural inspector
Agronomist
Food and beverage supervisor

Its a very underrated course and in the near future it will be in a great demand.

See, agriculture is a very good field to study for and you can make a very good career in agriculture field as there are government jobs as well as private jobs in this sector. There is a lot of scope for innovation too because india is a agriculture driven economy.
But i won't recommend you to do a diploma course in agriculture because after doing diploma you are left with very limited options. So it's better to go for a proper Bachelors course and then a Masters course. Even for applying for any government job you should hold a bachelor's degree in agriculture. So, i would suggest you to go for a bachelor course instead of any diploma degree course. After bachelors you can also do courses like MBA which will give you more and more options in future. So, decide accordingly because once you take a decision you cannot change it.
