Hello Shivam, 

Talking about the placements, most of the companies that come to AKGEC for placements are specifically for CS/IT branch. So, if you don't have any problem in joining an IT company being from an ECE background then you can go for AKGEC but remember you will get few or won't get any company from your branch for placements. Also, these IT companies that allow other branch students to sit in placements are only the mass recruiters, not the other ones.
