As u know every branch has its own significance .But still if your are asking about good placement then i would like to suggest you that eee is better than ee as in eee u have the apportunity to study both the subjects of ee and ec and you will get more knowledge which will  be further helpful for you to get better placement..and most imoprtant thing is that u need to learn any one computer language as many company demands from an engineering student.

At last I would like to tell you that EEE & EE both are better as far as government jobs are concerned because PSU jobs consist of all types of heavy industry job ie, core sector with most vacacies in NTPC , NHPC ,BHEL etc.

Every branch has its own significance..when you compare between EEE or ECE....EEE involves electronics and electrical study and ECE which involves study of electronics and some part of communications...

In core companies that demand for EEE is more than ECE. Whereas ECE students has more demand in IT companies. EEE students don't have much scope in IES while ECE students have. ECE have a higher probability to get a government job than EEE...

One cannot make the difference between them...you want to choose which is good for you...

B.tech EE stands for Electrical Engineering which is a branch of engineering which deals with Electrical equipment operating at a voltage greater than 12 v.

B.tech EEE stands for Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

The Electrical part of EE/EEE will primarily focus on production, transmission and distribution of electricity. It deals with AC/DC, renewable energy, etc.

The Electronics part of EEE will deal with semiconductor devices such as Transistors, microcontrollers, microprocessors, etc.
