So i feel good to answer this question being an electronics and communication engineer. So first of all you need to know what this branch deals with. This is a combination of few other branches of engineering like Computer science, Electrical, Electronics etc. that means it is a branch which deals with both hardware and software including basics of electrical domain. After knowing this we come to know that an EC graduate will be such an useful person for any sector. May it be multinational software companies like TCS, infosys, wipro, cognizant etc or the core sectors like teksun, arucom, intel, texas innovation etc or the prestigious ISRO, DRDO and other public sectors they all need EC engineers and are ready to pay a handsome salary. Most of the EC engineers these days prefer to be a research fellows in IOT, AI and other technologies
