Yes, a student who repeated class 12th is eligible to give the entrance exma of NEET UG.  The eligibility criteria for neet ug is given below: 

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and english as core subjects in 11th and 12th both from recognised board. Candidates from NIOS board are eligible- gap year between 11th and 12th is permitted. 
  • Minimum age requirement- 17 years as on dec 31,2018. Candidates must be born on or before jan 1,2002. 
  • Maximum age limit- applicable for neet 2018 as per final judgement of delhi high court on may 11,2018
  • Qualifying marks- UR- 50%, OBC/SC/ST-40%, PWD-45% (Minimum aggregate marks for pcb subjects only)
