EMPI Business School Group, New Delhi was established in the year 1995 under the Society for Innovative Education and Development. Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM at EMPI should first pre-qualify through EMPI prescribed tests. As such all candidates taking the CAT / MAT/ CMAT / XAT/ ATMA are considered for selection to the PGDM programme. Candidates clearing the pre-qualifying test are required to go through EMPI's comprehensive Personality Assessment and Profiling exercise which include Psychological Testing, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The institute provides round-the-clock electricity, and water supply, excellent accommodation, mess and canteen services, medical support, and sports facilities. The cutoff is 50 percentile . However, the institute conducts the Personality Profiling exercise for levelling various factors of selection standard based on which cutoff for admission is determined. The highest CTC offered to PGDM student at EMPI stood at Rs. 20 LPA while the average salary of placed graduates stood at Rs. 8.5 LPA . The institute offers PGDM in various specialisations. The fees for the programme is somewhere around Rs. 10 lakh for two-years. Therefore, it can be concluded that EMPI is a tier 2 college for PGDM in New Delhi.
