Yes, its applicable to government bds colleges in Maharashtra. 

The Central Government has announced that EWS reseevation which is meant for General Category students whose annual income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs per annum, which be in effect from this Academic year only. NTA has already asked eligible students to change their category to EWS for JEE. With NTA also being the exam conducting authority for NEET as well, reservation might come inyo force from this year only. How, is a question that can be answered only after any official notification.
