Dear Chanchal, MCI has announced that EWS Reservation will start from this Academic year. And MCI also has approved an increase of 50 seats in every college to accomodate EWS reservation. This is across India in all Government and Private Medical Colleges. The same applies to Rajasthan State Counselling in all its Government and Private Medical Colleges as well. So if you earlier belonged to General Category but now fall under EWS Category owing to your Economical Status, you will benefit from this reservation. You will have a lesser cut off than that of General Category for the same College.
