The reservation criteria is based on state government reservation policy. The categories which are given reservation are sc, st, backward class, sports and defense.

Yes, the ews quota is implemented in ts eamcet. Most of the engineering colleges have the ebc or ews quota.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Hyderabad has released the application form for TS EAMCET 2019 which can be filled for March 6 to April 5(without late fee) and upto April 28(with late fee upto 10,000 INR). The exam is conducted for admissions to various engineering and agriculture courses offered by the participating institutes.

As for your question, EWS is valid from 2019.
