education qualifications

1. For the post of Assistant Director of Horticulture: Must possess a degree in M.Sc. (Horticulture).
2. For the post of Horticultural Officer: Must possess a degree in B.Sc. (Horticulture)

Age limit

1. For both posts – SCs, SC (A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes: No age limit
2. All Others – For the post of Assistant Director of Horticulture: Should not have completed 30 years.
3. All Others – For the post of Horticultural Officer: Should not have completed 30 years [Persons holding a post-graduate degree or Ph.D. in Horticulture should not have completed 32 years].
