Hey.
No GUCET is not compulsory for MBBS. GUCET or any other state level exam are not considered for admission to MBBS courses. All state level entrances have been scrapped for MBBS Admission. There are only 3 entrance exam.
NEET- For admission to all goevement, Private colleges all over India expect AIIMS and JIPMER.
AIIMS- For admission to all AIIMS institutes
JIPMER- For admission to both JIPMER campuses.
So, for admission in any college in your state Gujarat and all over India expect AIIMS and JIPMER you need to take NEET which is compulsory.
