Yes, Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) is same as Jamia Hamdard. It is situated at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi.

HIMSR is a constituent faculty of Jamia Hamdard. It aims at widening the scope in the life sciences and health.
So, to apply for MBBS at Jamia Hamdard, you will be evaluated by faculty of Hamdard Institute.
