As I have searched there is no information about this weather IELTS is compulsory or not for medical courses in abroad. However I have written below the important points:

• The age of the candidate must be minimum 17 years on December 31 of the Year he is putting his course.
• The candidate must have completed his 12th class board examination from a recognised board with 50% marks in the aggregate of physics chemistry and Biology and English.
• The candidate has to produce a medical certificate issued by the Medical Council of India at the time of admission in abroad universities.
