No. Mathematics is neither mandatory in +2 studies nor in MBBS course. Mathematics is not at all necessary for medical people until and unless you are personally interested and takes up MBiPC in +2 studies. (this contains maths)

No mathematics is not at all necessary if you want to go in the field of medical especially in doctor from the class 11th you can choose biology as your subject instead of mathematics and you can pursue that field living mathematics behind so it is completely your choice but yes it is said that all of the medicine field cannot be covered without the use of mathematics because there are a lot of devices which needs mathematics for instance if you choose to do engineering in biological science and engineering then you need to have mathematics as a course but in general you don't need mathematics for medical field higher it depends on your specialisation ban in general it is not as needed.
