If you want to study in IIT's then only you have to prepare for IIT JEE as well as JEE MAINS. To study BArch in IIT you have to clear the JEE MAINS paper-I as the paper-II is only valid for the admission to NIT's and coordinated colleges.

Also after qualifying JEE ADVANCED you have to appear for AAT test in order to get admission in IIT's for the BArch program.

The questions asked in B arch examination is mostly from subject such as mathematics, mental ability and logical reasoning, and drawing section.

Comparing it with the coaching syllabus of IIT JEE you can at most get the questions of mathematics sections solved. But for logical reasoning and mental ability part, you can refer to books such as Goyal brothers and Arihant publication.
