Mtech is an integrated course for 5 years, a good number of opportunities and for m.tech students particularly about civil and also Mtech students are eligible for fewer companies only. The students from Btech in CSE  have more such opportunities as compared to Mtech because CSE is high in demand, currently. Getting placements also depends upon your interpersonal skills other than the academic qualifications.
