Andhra University, Visakhapatnam Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Andhra University and all of its affiliated colleges have a training and placement cell that offers training, internship and placement opportunities to the students. As per the NIRF report of 2025, 760 out of 901 graduates at UG level and 2103 out of 2473 students at PG level got placed in Andhra University placements 2024. 

• Andhra University placements for UG courses - As per NIRF 2025, there are a total of 24 students from undergraduate 3-year programme who got placement with Andhra University median package of Rs 4.10 lakhs per annum.
• Andhra University placement package - A total of 10 students from postgraduate 3-year programme got placement with a median salary package of Rs 4.50 lakhs per annum.

NIRF report of 2025 stated that, Andhra University median salary offered to placed graduates in placements 2024 ranged between Rs 4.10 lakhs (3 year UG course) to Rs 7.58 lakhs (4 year UG course) for UG graduates and Rs 4.50 lakhs (3 and 6 year PG course)  to Rs 6.70 lakhs (2 year PG course) for PG students. Several major companies have recruited students from Andhra University including Amazon, Deloitte, ITC, TCS, Transcend, United Online, Google and so on.

• Andhra University placement cell invites various firms for on-campus placements. The firms provide information about the candidates that they are looking for and the salary packages that they are ready to offer. With this information, the university sends them the date of their on-campus arrival.
• Once Andhra University placement cell has the information, they organise many pre-placement talks with the students. The students are informed about the companies and their objectives. Further, to enhance the students, AU placement cell also hosts mock tests and mock interviews.
• When the company is on-campus, the students are requested to submit their resumes along with other required documents. Then the students appear for a written exam for the respective company.
• If a student clears the written test, he is called for the group discussion round. The candidates that further clear the group discussion round are called for personal interviews with the HR and the other interviewing committee.
• Once the student clears the final round of recruitment, the company sends an offer letter explaining the role of the student in the firm and the salary package that he is offered.
