No, candidate is not eligible to go for entrance exam if the candidate is from arts or commerce stream. 

From 2018 onwards the candidates who have taken Physics,  Mathematics, Chemistry in 12 th standard and have scores a minimum of 50% are eligible to give entrance exam for NATA.
