Now there are other entrance examinations as well like MAT, GMAT XAT, ATMA, etc. So it depends on the College you want to join for studying MBA. If you want to get into Top B-Schools of India like IIMs or FMS Delhi, then you have to appear and qualify CAT Exam. But it is not necessary as many of the B-Schools accept other entrance exams marks also.
