Is it necessary to do B.A or any other 3 year course to appear for M.A English entrance exam?

Hello student as MA English hons is a post graduate course it's mandatory to pass in graduation, so yes you need to obtain a 3year bachelor degree in any discipline to get admission in MA English hons.

ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must passed or appearing graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized university.

The eligibility criteria for MA English varies as per the norms of the university, to provide you an example if you seek admission in BHU, then it's mandatory to have studied the subject with hons at graduation level, however the same case doesn't apply for JNU, Delhi. Hence, you should check out the eligibility criteria if you plan to pursue Master's Degree in English from any specific college.
