Yes, English is a compulsory subject which you should add in the list with average of 55% for getting admission at Hindu college. Here is the admission eligibility for admission;

Intermediate students must score 55% of aggregate marks in physics chemistry and mathematics and passing one in compulsory subject which is English with 55%
