Yes,the institute allows sliding between branches.You will be able to slide from one branch to other in AIT but depending upon the branch which you want to slide to,the marks to be obtained will also differ.Try to score a good cgpa to slide into a branch of your choice.If you want to slide to top branches like CSE,IT etc.. then you have to be in the top 15 % of the entire interschool batches.

AIT Pune is one of the best colleges in Pune city and only the wards of army personnel can take admission in this college. Yes you can change the branch in Ait Pune if your cgpa is above 8 in first year and also there must be seat vacant in that branch also. But it's quiet tuff as there are only 300 intake per Year the students who take admission don't want to change their branch. As it's the best option for the ward of army personnel after NITs, all this I can say because I have also applied in it but not get my desire branch so it quite this college.
